Fatima Díaz Borges


Fátima Díaz Borges (she/her) is a psychologist, holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from CEPHCIS-UNAM, and a Higher Diploma in Sexual Diversity and Human Rights from CLACSO. She has an extensive background in public health services management in Yucatán, coordinating regional suicide prevention and maternal health initiatives. She is an independent researcher, a member of the 4th cohort of emerging researchers at INQYR, and co-founder of the Mango Malva collective, which won the Memorias Vivas 2022 award from the Mexican Ministry of Culture for the project "Archivos de la Ternura Combativa: Feminist sexual dissidences in Yucatán." Her work focuses on Feminist Activist Research  using digital ethnographic approaches to explore affective memory and collective care networks among lesbians within activism in her homeland. As a divergent practitioner, she integrates these frameworks with neurobiopsychology, narrative therapy, and traditional herbalism into her clinical practice and the design of affective devices for somatic regulation.
