Leonardo Jiménez-Rivagorza

Leonardo Jiménez-Rivagorza holds a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Addiction Psychology, both earned from the Faculty of Psychology at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He is an author and peer reviewer of scientific articles published in indexed, peer-reviewed journals. He has presented research posters at national and international conferences focused on the mental health of sexual minority men who use substances in both sexualized and non-sexual contexts. In 2023, he received the Dr. Gustavo Baz Prada Award from UNAM, and his work was recognized by the Ramón de la Fuente Muñiz National Institute of Psychiatry at its Annual Research Meetings in 2022 and 2023. He currently collaborates on studies aimed at developing mental health interventions for sexual and gender minority individuals experiencing problematic stimulant use, provides specialized psychological care in private practice, serves as a clinical supervisor at TEZCA Psychological Center, and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology and Health at the Faculty of Psychology, UNAM.
