Alex Biard

Dr Alex Baird (they/them) worked in various schools for 12 years, latterly as Director of Sport, before moving to the higher education sector eight years ago. At the University of Bedfordshire, Alex is a Senior Lecturer in Sport and Physical Education, EDI Faculty Lead, and Co-Chair of the LGBTQ+ Alliance Staff Network. Their research supports LGBTQ+ inclusion in Education and Sport, specifically challenging traditional leadership paradigms and supporting LGBTQ+ leadership development.
