This study is exploring LGBTQ+ young peoples’ daily experiences online, particularly the negativity and discrimination they encounter. The research will be used to better understand what is happening to LGBTQ+ youth online, and to help develop supports for those struggling with the hostility they experience.
Participants must be age 14 – 24; identify as LGBTQ+; and currently reside in the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom.
The link below will take you to a brief 30-45 minute survey asking about your experiences.
If you’re interested, you can also sign-up to possibly do an interview with us. A limited number of individuals will be invited to participate in an interview (the type and amount of compensation provided for participating in the interview will be shared with you before the interview is scheduled).
This research is being conducted at The Ohio State University as part of the Canadian Regional Network of the International Partnership of Queer Youth Resilience (INQYR). INQYR is a project led by the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work and is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities and Research Council of Canada.
