MEET THE INTERVIEWERS
Egag Egag (yes, his first and last name are the same) works as a Research Assistant to Dr. Shelley Craig, and is one of the interviewers for the QueerVIEW study. Egag is going into his final year in his MSW program at the University of Toronto. Egag previously spent several years working in mental health research, and has recently started providing counseling and support to youth of varying backgrounds and identities. Egag spends his free time expanding his video game backlog with JRPGs that he hopes to play at some point in his life, negotiating over used video game consoles, arguing about why "Pose" is the most important TV show, and training for a marathon that he has yet to sign up for.
Rachael Pascoe is doing a PhD in Social Work (that means she’s in grade 20!) and is one of the QueerVIEW interviewers. She also works as a social worker helping kids in the city. She lives in Toronto and loves to go bike riding, read great books, and do yoga. Rachael got involved with QueerVIEW through her work with Dr. Shelley Craig. As a part of her role, Rachael writes for research projects, co-facilitates AFFIRM groups, and interviews young queer people. She loves working on Dr. Craig’s team and getting to meet awesome queer people across the globe. Rachael plans to continuing helping kids and teens, doing important research, and travelling around the world.
