DESCRIPTIONThis study used photo-elicitation to engage with trans and nonbinary youth in the U.S. in qualitative research. The use of images promotes dialogue and potentially introduces new dimensions to qualitative research beyond the traditional interview method.

Using participant-driven semi-structured interviews, the researcher made participants aware of a set of questions and asks participants to compile new or existing photos (5-10 images) relevant to the questions.
