The ISTN’s instructors have helped guide my career path and provided opportunities for me build my research skills.  The ISTN provides a level of LGBTQ+-specific education that I could never obtain at my home institution. I cannot begin to explain how much this educational experience means to me.  To say thank you does not feel like a significant enough statement to express my gratitude, but thank you.

🇲🇽 FROM THE MEXICO REGIONAL NETWORK 🇲🇽
The Mexican Regional Network completed its first project, based on focus groups and photo elicitation research with LGBT youth in three major Mexican cities. This project has allowed the network to send out its first academic paper for publication. We are currently working on three other projects which we hope to have finished by the end of 2020. Despite the difficulties we have faced in continuing our work and activism, more researchers have hopped on board the regional network. We are happy to continue our research in collaboration with experienced and senior researchers in LGBT health such as Dr. Luis Ortiz-Hernandez, and with younger and fresh researchers like Miguel Corral (PhD candidate).
